Padmasambhava

Padmasambhava was the entity who assisted in bringing Buddhism to Tibet.This detailed painting took over three months to create. It has layers of water based paints, inks, mineral colors (lapis lazuli, malachite, etc, ground into powder and made into paint), and real gold. Also known as Guru Rinpoche, Padmasabhava is beloved in Tibet.
